Franzen comes tothe Schulz Museum to celebrate the release of The Peanuts Papers (Library ofAmerica). The book is a collection of essays by writers and cartoonists on thedeeper truths of the Peanuts comic strip and its impact on their lives, work,and the broader culture. Franzen, one of the thirty-three contributors to thecollection, will be in conversation with the book’s editor and founder ofBlauner Books Literary Agency, Andrew Blauner.
Franzen has authored five novels, including Freedom, Purity,and The Corrections, and the recipient of numerous awards including theNational Book Award for fiction, the John Gardner Prize for fiction, and theHeartland Prize, in addition to being a Pulitzer Prize finalist.
Book sales will be provided by Copperfield’s Books.
Franzen and Blauner will be available for book signing.
