Ric on the Radio
Eric Cullen, aka "Ric", is a musician and music lover who was raised on FM radio, Beethoven, the Carter Family and Frank Zappa. Born in San Diego, he moved to Sonoma County in 1989 to attend Sonoma State University, earning his b.a. in music in 1991. Since then, he has played in many local bands: Freeloaders, the Vallejo Street Band, Joe Chaplain Band, among many others. He currently plays in Amphora, an all-instrumental smooth and Latin jazz combo. He has also recorded a dozen solo albums and owned or co-owned three independent record labels. His involvement at KRCB is a natural extension of his total love of all aspects of music, from creator, to showman, to fan.

REM REM at the BBCReleased in 2018, REM at the BBC is a massive box set containing 8 discs with over 100 songs totaling over 7 hours. Even for the hardcore fan, the collection's breadth can be overwhelming. Luckily, Ric has distilled the set into a manageable 2-hour chunk for your listening pleasure. We'll hear REM performances from various BBC broadcasts over the years, including Nottingham 1984, Milton Keynes 1995, several different Peel sessions and other radio programs taken from every period of the band's 30-year career.

GordonLightfoot InterlochenI have challenged my good friend and music lover, Phil Hulme, to create a playlist based on his favorite songs and artists and the important moments in his life. Phil has excellent taste in music and he has put together a fine playlist that includes Simon & Garfunkel, Buffalo Springfield, Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, Crosby Stills & Nash, Tim Flannery, Spirit, Jethro Tull, Van Morrison and more!
