Hannah Georgas went from admiring rock band, The National, to performing with them, to having her latest album produced by the band’s co-founder, Aaron Dessner. The new record, called All That Emotion, was written back in 2017, but is just now being released. Today, the mainstay Canadian artist discusses the songwriting behind her music, as well as what she learned from working with Dessner over many years. But somehow, this became the start of his latest album, called New Medicine. Today, Josh shares stories behind the making of the record, from connecting with Butch Vig to songwriting during the impeachment trial.
