EAdance2 8811The Elsie Allen High School Dance Program has been around for over 10 years, training and nurturing talented Lobos of all different ages and backgrounds. It is a safe space for students to explore, discover, and expand the possibilities of their movement and artistic expression. We focus on learning different styles of movement, and also learning different tools and devices in choreography. These styles include Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, and more. We are highly involved with our community, performing at rallys, spirit events, open houses, and other community events. We have several after school dance clubs, led by student dancers who also perform at many community events.
EAdance 3 8761Those clubs include Folklorico, Bellydancing, Kpop, and Hip Hop Club. The program holds an annual Spring Dance Show in late April that showcases student and guest work that students have been working on all semester. We hope to expand on our production schedule and include more performance opportunities in the future.
