Curator Jeff Nathanson and Maria Byck at the sculpture garden at Paradise Ridge Winery

After Paradise Ridge Winery was burned in the October 2017 Fires in Sonoma County, owner and patriarch Dr. Walter Byck immediately vowed to rebuild. The property on a hillside overlooking Santa Rosa became a symbol of resilience for the entire community, especially the LOVE sculpture that was photographed against a vibrant sunset on the property. The Byck family has hosted a free sculpture garden at Paradise Ridge for nearly 3 decades, building relationships with artists and inviting the public to share the space. During this episode, host Michelle Marques explores the iconic property as well as the legacy and love of Walter and his wife Marijke, as told through a book about the Byck family and a captivating new sculpture exhibition.
