Buds and blossoms are looking peachy. I know this because I've been sneezing for the last two weeks. It's that time of the year, although I am allergic to almost every time of the year. When you live in the Redwoods, you get used to sneezing. But now, the buds and the blossoms are going crazy everywhere you drive in Sonoma County. I mean, the trees in the gym parking lot, it is such a magical time of the year.
I can't wait until the apple blossoms are in full bloom, but there's pink, and there's yellow, and there's white and all manner in between. And I know that they're peachy because I've been talking to farmers. Farmers tell us that we've had a very good wet year, but wet with dry, wet with dry, so the buds and the blooms should lead to another great year of stone fruit and goodness from the Earth. Savoring Sonoma, I'm Clark Wolf for KRCB.
