Jeff Falconer & Dave Hamilton each performed songs penned by Hugh on the Sonoma County Covers Project. Tune in to hear what hijinks ensue when we put these men in one studio, with three guitars...
Tuesday, February 16: Eliza Gilkyson. The legendary, Grammy nominated, folk musician graces our studio to chat and play song tunes on the radio.
Wednesday, February 17: Kyle Martin & Friends. Enthusiastic co-host of Kyle's Calendar on KRCB brings his jubilant sounds to Studio A
Monday, February 22: Banana (Lowell Levinger)One of my favorite bands of all time are The Youngbloods. Banana has a new album which revisits their classic sound.
Tuesday, February 23: Bootleg Honeys. Sonoma County's 12-eyed Songbirds bring their beautiful voices and guitars to KRCB. Their new album Paint it Red is outstanding!
Wednesday, February 24: Studio E Showcase Jeff Martin, John Knutson & Scott Smith. Producer, musician and studio owner Jeff Martin comes in with 2 gents who have recorded new albums at Jeff's Studio E: John Knutson (recently profiled in the North Bay Bohemian ) and Scott Smith. Together they will play some tunes and talk about their recording experiences.
Thursday, February 25: The Beautiul Questions & John Reese. Hall of Fame Pedal Steel wizard Bobby Lee plays bass in a rock band. Who knew?? John Reese fronts the band Open Hearts and wrote You've Got To Breathe, which The Beautiful Questions covered on the Sonoma County Covers Project. We will load them all into Studio A, and hear what happens...
Saturday, February 27: The Dirty Cello Radio Hour, Doug Blumer, Coyote Slim & The North Bay Hootenanny During Our Roots Are Showing, Jason & Rebecca bring their band, Dirty Cello (& Friends) to KRCB for a free-form, lively, musical radio hour. Doug Blumer who fronts the band, Bohemian Highway joins us at 3:15. Coyote Slim plays the Blues at 3:45. Josh Windmiller has assembled a select group of local folkies for a segment called North Bay Hootenanny LIVE. Todd Umhoefer, Dale Geist, Kalei Yamanoa, Jessica Malone, & Luke Erickson will present an old fashioned song swap, Hootenanny-style! They will close out the show beginning at 4:20pm
Monday, February 29: Sarah Baker, Gary Silva, Steve Barbieri, Allen Sudduth. Big time contributors on our Sonoma County Covers Project , and supporters of KRCB; these folks will close out our Funds Drive on Leap Day.
