Pac RimThis juried exhibition features work by the Pacific Rim Sculptors group. The final selections for the show were made by two jurors, Jeff Nathanson, the Museum’s Executive Director and Art Curator, and Kate Eilertsen, who is Executive Director and Chief Curator of Di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art.

The theme of the exhibition focuses on the concept of balance and explores varied and multiple interpretations of balance, including diverse states of equilibrium, such as the distribution of weight, physical, visual or implied. The resulting exhibition features the work of over 45 sculptors representing a wide range of approaches, techniques, and materials such as metal, wood, stone, mixed media, and installations, including both static as well as kinetic pieces.

A Question of Balance will remain on view through May 26 at Museum of Sonoma County on Seventh Street, in Santa Rosa.
