Travel restrictions prompted by fear over the spread of the New Coronavirus, now known as COVID-19,  have caused some tech companies in the Bay Area to cancel upcoming events. Tourism is down, too. The significant loss of visitors to the area will result in a negative economic impact. However, for Chinese Americans, the impacts from the coronavirus extend beyond the economy.
