Sonoma County set a goal of clearing the Joe Rodota trail by Friday. County officials switched their policy to enforcement mid-week and began issuing warnings and citations to those still camping there. We talked with Supervisor Lynda Hopkins Friday about the plans for the day, and the surprising news that even as the men and women camping on the Joe Rodota trail were cleared out this week, more people flooded in to their abandoned tents.
