Mitch Findley, Sydney Wagner and Jynessa Lazzaroni are settling into VOICES' new home at 714 Mendocino Avenue, between downtown and SRJC in Santa Rosa.Founded five years ago in Napa, a youth-led service center for former foster care teens and young adults has flourished in the North Bay. Now it is now expanding further afield.
Once they opened their doors in May 2009, VOICES Santa Rosa didn't have to wait long before they were receiving a lot of visitors. Co-founder Mitch Findley says the word got around quickly without their having to promote themselves much.
Early this year, VOICES found and has since been readying a new facility in Santa Rosa. The comfortable two-story house on Mendocino Avenue is just around the corner from their original location.
VOICES will host their Sonoma County Grand Re-Opening at their new home in Santa Rosa on Wednesday afternoon, April 11, from 4-7 pm. Find further details here.
