The battle over Bodega Bay's "hole in the head" was a huge historic turning point for the local landscape, but Glass points out, it can also be seen as astarting point for the half century of coastal protection that followed in California.
For their second podcast, Coastwalk looked a bit further south, explains Glass, to a dramatic vista in Marin County.
With a strong positive public response to the first of these "virtual docent" recordings, Coastwalk Executive Director Una Glass is now looking ahead to doing more, and focusing on other parts of the California coastline.
