A new exhibit at the Petaluma Museum revisits the Viet Nam war from the first-hand perspective of those who were actually there—on both sides of the line of fire.

Author, playwright and documentarian Tony Lazzarini of Greenbrae has collected many of his memories and war stories in the book, Highest Traditions, which he says was intended to offer readers a rare peek inside the helicopters that became one of the most iconic symbols of the Viet Nam war.
