In the spring, a young man's thoughts turn to...activism.

The campaign's activities throughout April are intended to build up to the annual May First march in Santa Rosa in support of immigrant rights.

- -Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays- volunteers will canvass different neighborhoods with a.)Petitions calling for an end to raids on immigrant workers and families and b.) Surveys about local law enforcement.
- -Tuesdays- IMPACT! meeting and dinner at 6pm. These are open to the public and held at 1251 Marian Way, Petaluma.
- Friday nights- CopWatch patrols. Observe police activity and talk to people on the street about their civil rights.
- Saturday mornings- Food Not Bombs serving, corners of Howard and Washington St. at 11 am.
- Sunday, April 19th. "Downtown Get-Down." From Noon to 6pm, there will be a gathering in Putnam Plaza, with literature tables, free food, live music, art, and more!
- Sunday, April 26th. Neighborhood Market- Bailing Out the Community. 11-5pm, 1251 Marian Way. Organizers will bring together neighbors to exchange goods for free. IMPACT! encourages people to bring things they no longer need, things they have grown or made, or anything that they wish to donate. Everything is free. There will also be music and free food.
- May 1st- May Day! Together with the Committee for Immigrants' Rights, IMPACT! is helping to organize a rally and march for International Workers' Day in Santa Rosa. 3 pm.
