Support grows for gay marriage in CA

Public support for same-sex marriage has reached an all-time high in California. But fiscal support from the state for individuals with disabilities remains politicized and at risk.

Further data from the Field polls in recnet history (shown below)  tracks the growing swing in public opion on the issue of same-sex marraige in California over the past 35 years. Note that Proposition 8 was passed in 2008, an indication of the difference between overall public opinion and the views of active voters in the state.
