Great nights for film buffs!

On Story
The new half-hour series will focus on inspiration and creation at the conception of the filmmaking process. On Story will include interviews and footage from leading screenwriters and filmmakers discussing their craft and films, recorded at past Austin Film Festival panels and screenings. Each episode will pair these conversations with a short film from an emerging filmmaker; these shorts have previously screened at the Austin Film Festival. On Story’s executive producer is Austin Film Festival co-founder and Executive Director Barbara Morgan.

Official Best of Fest: The Best Films You’ve Never Seen
Official Best of Fest spotlights the best undistributed international and domestic short films, with the goal of giving underappreciated and overlooked independents the attention they deserve.
These well-written and innovative films screen at some of the world’s top film festivals—such as Sundance, Cannes and Toronto—yet few ever reach a wide audience.
Official Best of Fest relies on the wisdom of film festival audiences, juries and programmers, award-winning filmmakers and industry experts to identify the highest quality films. The international curating team consists of The Seattle International Film Festival’s Carl Spence; Geralyn Dreyfous, the founder/executive director of the Salt Lake City Film Center; Ted Hope, famed independent film producer; Paula Silver, a member of the foreign selection committee for the Academy Awards; Nicole Guillemet, former co-director of the Sundance Film Festival; and many more industry veterans with impressive pedigrees.
Each episode features several shorts—ranging in length from two to 15 minutes—grouped by common theme, including “Friendship,” “Love,” “Inspiration” and “Comedy.”
Founded by Seattle-area Director/Writer/Producer Rick Stevenson.
