Padma Balaji
Padma Balaji, a sophomore at Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, where she is part of her school’s journalism program. She enjoys writing and interacting with her community through journalism. During her time as an intern, Padma worked with KRCB to write and record PSAs for the radio. She also worked on writing and producing postcards for KRCB’s “Postcards from Sonoma County.”

This Audio Postcard showcases Padma’s skills in interviewing, audio editing, and production. With careful attention to detail, Padma recorded an insightful interview, edited the audio using advanced software, seamlessly integrated music, and formatted the final piece for broadcast automation.
