Launched 40 years ago, Voyager's story is lovingly told in this film through the stories of the men and women who devoted themselves to making the mission a success.

The film will be previewed on August 16 at the Rialto Theatres in Sebastopol.

After the 1 pm showing, Frank Drake, who partnered with Carl Sagan to create what is known as the "Golden Record" will answer questions. (He'll be joined by former JPL engineer Frank Locatell at after the 7 pm show.)

Listen below as Frank talks about the hugely ambitious Golden Record project to communicate with beings who might listen on distant stars to recordings from earth, perhaps billions of years into the future.
