Seeing the quilts on display is one kind of experience; making one is quite another. Sue Smith describes the process as she and her family did it.

Quilts from The Names Project are constantly being displayed at locations across the country. A larger exhibit is up at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco through the end of this year.   Recent estimates suggest that there are currently about 2000 people living with AIDS/HIV in Sonoma County; a quarter of them do not know they are infected.
