Update - SONOMA COUNTY SCHOOL CLOSURES 10/10/17

The following school districts will be closed October 10  

ALL SONOMA COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSED TUESDAY OCTOBER 10, 2017

Following is a message from County Superintendent of Schools, Steve Herrington, about the fires:  

We are still learning the impact of these devastating fires on our community as this situation unfolds.

I urge everyone to make safety their top priority. Most schools in our county, and many businesses, are closed. You can stay up to date on safety information at http://sonoma-county.org/. School closures and additional emergency information is available at scoe.org. Once safety is secured, we must come together to support the many in our community who will be in need of shelter, supplies, and comfort. Schools are truly safe havens where all can gather. Elsie Allen High School and Windsor High School are shelters today.

The National Weather Service as issued a RED FLAG warning for potential Wildfire Danger throughout high elevations in the San Francisco North Bay, the East Bay Hills, and the Santa Cruz Mountains.
