Cartoonists Get Serious for Fire Relief at Schulz Museum, While Keeping Sense of Humor

"Drawing Strength: Building Community Through Creativity" is a fire relief fundraiser scheduled for Dec.

9 at the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center. Dave Eggers, Brian Fies, Christopher Moore, Stephan Pastis, Raina Telgemeier and Judd Winnick will talk about how humor and creativity can help the North Bay recover from the recent firestorms. They'll make sketches, sign books and share wine.

All proceeds will go to Tipping Point Community to help those most affected by the fire and least able to afford the expense of recovery. 

Brian Fies, author of "A Fire Story" and Stephan Pastis, creator of "Pearls Before Swine" joined KRCB news director Steve Mencher to talk about the benefit. Find more information and tickets here.
