The 2012 Big Read, Sonoma County
Community Partnership Form
The Big Read is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts designed to restore reading to the center of American culture. The Big Read, Sonoma County will take place during the month of March 2012, when Sonoma County residents will be encouraged to read Rudolfo Anaya’s Bless Me, Ultima. Everyone is invited to become a Big Read Community Partner. Help us design a month of fun and engaging activities for all ages inspired by the suggested book or another title by this same author. If your event is open to the public, KRCB will help publicize it. Completed community partnership forms should be submitted as soon as possible in order to be included in promotional materials and on the community calendar.
Free Reader's Guides, Teacher's Guides, and Audio Guides are available on a first come, first served basis. There is background information on the author, the book's main characters, other books by the author, as well as questions to start a book discussion of Bless Me, Ultima. You can use the form below or contact us with your request and to schedule a time to pick them up at our studios in Rohnert Park.
