Presented by The Western Sonoma County Historical Society each year on the first Friday and Saturday nights in October, "The Barbara Bull Memorial Cemetery Walk" is an amazing and intriquing event that has played to "sold-out" audiences since its inception back in 2002.

It is a thoroughly enjoyable mixture of "living history", food and fellowship that is the largest and most popular fundraiser WSCHS offers.

Four audience groups per evening on both nights are treated to a "soup 'n salad supper" and then led by lantern-light by costumed docents through Sebastopol Memorial Lawn Cemetery to view six different (new each year), short, dramatic "vignettes" (performed by volunteer actors) based upon real events in the lives of some of the Cemetery's more historically-significant "residents" at the final resting sites of their subjects. Then audiences are treated to homemade apple desserts and coffee served on quaint, antique china at the historic "Caretaker Cottage" at Luther Burbank's Gold Ridge Experiment Farm (National Register of Historic Places) while doorprizes are handed out.

Audiences make it a point to tell us what an enjoyable and fascinating time they experienced at the Walk and many return year after year...
