Chamber Music OnStage

Sonoma County is home to a rich collection of Chamber Music series from Occidental to Oakmont, Healdsburg to Santa Rosa. KRCB is pleased to collaborate with many of them as we revive our broadcast series of live concert recordings, Chamber Music Onstage.

Also returning as the host of the program is Linda McLaughlin, whose resume includes serving as a Fellow in the music program of the National Endowment for the Arts, and co-founding the Russian River Chamber Music Series with Gary McLaughlin in 1992.

Over the past year, KRCB has been recording concerts presented by Russian River Chamber Music, The Redwood Arts Council, Oakmont Chamber Music, Santa Rosa Junior College, and the Santa Rosa Concert Association. You may already have heard pieces from some of these concerts on Performance Today-we’ve been sharing our recordings with their staff as well.

Our program is funded by a generous grant from the Nakamichi Foundation. The 13-week series of broadcasts can be heard on Radio 91 Tuesday afternoons at 1 pm.
