 world’s most acclaimed and innovative ensembles of performers with and w
 ithout disabilities. Founded in 1987\, they have paved the way for a power
 ful contemporary dance form called physically integrated dance. Most recen
 tly AXIs was featured on Fox TV's So You Think You Can Dance.\n \nCatch a
  behind-the-scenes look at a professional dance company and gain hands-on 
 experience in arts administration.  AXIS internships provide aspiring art
 ists\, arts educators\, managers and leaders the opportunity to learn abou
 t the inner workings of a mid-sized modern dance company.  You’ll learn
  how to spearhead development\, marketing\, research\, and dance education
  projects.  Positions are now available for Winter 2013:\n \nInternship 
 Dates: Jan 22-April 11\, 2013\n \nApplication Deadline: Dec 4\, 2012\n 
 \nTime Commitment: 15 hours per week\n \nStipend: $100. No tuition fees f
 or studio classes or summer intensives. Interns receive 2 complimentary ti
 ckets to AXIS annual home season performance. Academic credit if applicabl
