The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office is now using RAIDS (Regional Analysis and Information Sharing) Online crime mapping technology. RAIDS Online is also used by the Santa Rosa Police Department, which allows the public to see Sheriff's Office reports and Santa Rosa Police Department reports on the same map side by side.
The interactive mapping application for both departments is accessible to the public here.
RAIDS Online is a free service offered to the public and Law Enforcement agencies nationwide. Company founder Sean Bair, a former police officer and crime analyst said, “We wanted to do something to help law enforcement in these tough economic times. We consider this a basic service that we are more than happy to provide to the public and our law enforcement friends.”
