Live Primary Election Coverage on June 5
The interest and intrigue in this year’s California primary election lies not in the Presidential race, but further down the ballot, where newly drawn districts are seeing some hotly contested campaigns for Congress and the state legislature. That’s especially true in the North Bay, where more than a dozen hopefuls are vying to succeed the retiring Lynn Woolsey in the House of Representatives, and Voters in Santa Rosa, also must adjust to being in new districts. The new Top Two primary voting system is also getting its first test on June 5th, making the outcomes now more important than ever for setting up the general election in November.
To help you make sense of the changed political landscapes, and track the results as they come in, KRCB will once again provide live coverage on election night. News Director Bruce Robinson and Political Analyst Dick Spotswood, joined by a series of candidates and other guests, will follow the returns and offer perspective and context as the outcomes emerge.
Our live televised coverage begins at 8:30 pm—simulcast on KRCB-FM and streaming online at KRCB.org—
