The art of paper cutting developed in many cultures, including Mexican, Japanese, Israeli/Jewish, Indian, Filipino and Chinese. In this class, Julio will teach his method for cutting fantastic creatures, detailed architectural forms, and people to form an intricate and unique scene out of ordinary paper. Each student will create their own paper cutting with Julio’s assistance, and learn the skills to create art with just paper and an x-acto knife.
