DESCRIPTION:What is a skillful divorce and how is it achieved?  Members of
  the Collaborative Council of the Redwood Empire (CCRE)\,a group of attorn
 eys\, financial planners\, and mental health professionals\, will provide 
 a free panel presentation on divorce options.  The event will occur in Sa
 nta Rosa\, January 11\, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Sonoma County Pu
 blic Library\, Main Branch on E Street.\nThe discussion will cover the ful
 l range of choices people have as they contemplate divorce\, focusing on t
 he non-adversarial out-of-court options\, including &quot\;collaborative p
 ractice&quot\; and mediation.  This is a unique opportunity for the publi
 c to learn about resources they can draw on to plan a skillful and effecti
 ve transition that honors the needs and interests of all family members. 
  The program will be particularly useful to anyone thinking about divorce 
 or other relational transition and for those who advise and help people th
 rough the divorce/transition process.
