What do Steve Martin, Todd Rundgren, Renaissance master Palestrina, and The Wailin' Jennys have in common? You can find all of these eclectic artists' music in one Occidental Community Choir concert this December. Irrefutably entertaining, director Sarah Saulsbury and the choir serve up a slice of musical dessert, "Let them Eat Fruitcake", an evening of derring-do only hinted at by their fearless embrace of this much-maligned holiday goodie. The choir's 33rd season offers five Dec. concerts.
