Other highlights include\, Indian food\, desserts\, a silent auction and the new Apothecar y tasting and smelling experience!\nThe Grand Opening Party is a non-profi t event and all proceeds go to fund the new Aushadi Community Production K itchen for start-up businesses and the Aushadi by-donation health clinics. The Community Production Kitchen will be a gluten-free\, nut-free and kos her facility providing healthy affordable cooking classes to educate the c ommunity\, medicine making\, essential oils distillation and fermentation. There will be a fermentation and aging room\, vegetarian and non-vegetari an preparation and stoves\, drying racks and a student-run soup kitchen wh ich will always provide a safe place for people of all backgrounds to come and partake in a bowl of healthy soup regardless of financial abilities. \nDeAnna Batdorff and her husband Scott Jenkins are Co-owners of thedhyana Center. Deanna is also the founder of thedhyanaCenterand the Executive Dir ector of the non-profit\, Aushadi Health Foundation. Combining her love fo r health and well-being with her love for people\, DeAnna began her practi ce 22 years ago as an Ayurvedic healer and educator for all people. Today she carries the same fundamental philosophies of providing affordable alte rnative health care for the people\, and that can be seen in her generous and loving bedside manner as well as the plethora of affordable services t hat she provides to the general public.
