 event at the Petaluma Arts Center. \n \nThis year Petaluma will be alive
 \, for the 11th year\, with the spirit of El Día de los Muertos/ Day of t
 he Dead. In conjunction with this celebration\, the Petaluma Arts Center i
 s sponsoring the 11th annual El Día de los Muertos\, Petaluma fine arts e
 xhibition\, from September 30th to November 6th.\nVisual arts (both 2D and
  3D) and altars will be displayed throughout the city\, along with altars\
 , music\, dance\, film\, storytelling and workshops.\nThe theme for 2011\,
  Bridges of Light / Puentes de Luz\, is in keeping with this age-old trad
 ition that honors the memory of loved ones who have died\, and acknowledge
 s death as a part of life. In line with our mission of highlighting the ar
 ts and culture and influences of Latin and South America\, the Petaluma Ar
 ts Center will host an exhibition of the work of Latino Artists in the PAC
  and Latino theme art in public venues throughout Petaluma.
