Celebrate El Dia de los Muertos! Come join us for a family art event at the Petaluma Arts Center. 

This year Petaluma will be alive, for the 11th year, with the spirit of El Día de los Muertos/ Day of the Dead. In conjunction with this celebration, the Petaluma Arts Center is sponsoring the 11th annual El Día de los Muertos, Petaluma fine arts exhibition, from September 30th to November 6th.

Visual arts (both 2D and 3D) and altars will be displayed throughout the city, along with altars, music, dance, film, storytelling and workshops.

The theme for 2011, Bridges of Light / Puentes de Luz, is in keeping with this age-old tradition that honors the memory of loved ones who have died, and acknowledges death as a part of life. In line with our mission of highlighting the arts and culture and influences of Latin and South America, the Petaluma Arts Center will host an exhibition of the work of Latino Artists in the PAC and Latino theme art in public venues throughout Petaluma.
